The Ranger (Managing Director)
As the son of a sport hunter, Christian learned to love the flora and fauna of the tranquil Bernau forest.
After completing his Abitur (high school diploma) Christian emerged out of the humble green lush and ventured into the big city where he would soon be trained as an event manager in a well-known Berlin event agency. Throughout the years he wore many hats including booker for an electronic indie label, bar boss in various scene clubs, and production and logistics manager for an automobile group, fashion labels and more.
His love for good food and extraordinary events inspired him to organize his first pop-up dinner series with Markus Bongardt. Christian convinced Markus of his love for forest and game and Markus brought the meadows to the table. Wild & Wiese was born.
Christian takes joy in garnishing his dinner evenings with a musical dessert, an artistic performance, and other culinary delights. The program is as varied as the tastes of the Wild & Wiese dishes.
When it’s not asparagus season, Christian usually eats German and down to earth. Because he leaves his favorite Japanese or Korean dishes to the professionals, he is likely acquainted with every Asian restaurant in the city.
