Christian Wilke, Founder and Managing Director
As the son of a hobby hunter in the sleepy town of Bernau, Christian got to know and love the forest’s flora and fauna at an early age. After graduating from high school, he bid adieu to the fragrent pines and hanging birch of the mysterious woods and made his big move to the city to learn the ropes as an event manager in a well-known Berlin event agency. This was followed by positions as a booker for an electronic-indie label, as a bar manager in Berlin’s advant garde club scene, and as a production and logistics manager for an automotive group. Not to mention his role at various fashion labels etc…
Christian’s love for good food and extraordinary events lead him to organize a series of well-known pop-up dinners which eventually sired his own catering company in 2015: Wild & Wiese was born! Today, Wild & Wiese stands for top-class event catering and continues to impress customers from various industries such as management consulting, automotive groups, and tourism. It is not uncommon for Christian and his wild team to entertain several thousand guests at trade fairs, company parties, or customer events. His love of detail and his penchant for the extraordinary is intrinsic in his character.
Christian garnishes his events with assorted musical treats, sizzling art performances, and exciting cultural delicacies. His network is as varied as the flavors of the Wild & Wiese dishes. When it’s not asparagus season, Christian likes to eat home-cooked German cusine. He probably knows every Asian restaurant in the city but leaves his favorite Asian dishes from Japanese and Korean cuisine to the professionals.
