Ralf has always liked to be on the move. Sitting still at school and doing homework? Not on Ralf’s watch. He preferred to peak over his mother’s shoulder in the kitchen and soon after started stirring the cooking spoon himself. After graduating from school, Ralf first completed an apprenticeship as a cook. However it didn’t quite hit the spot, so he went searching for something in the hotel industry. This is where learned the commercial background of gastronomy from scratch as a food & beverage apprentice. And once he discovered his knack for sales, the graduate marketing specialist soared to the top once again.
In everyday agency life, Ralf quickly got to know the challenges and demands of customers. With this colorful package of ingredients, insights, and knowledge, he and two other business partners founded the premium catering company “Der Blaue Hummer” in 1999, which is the leading address in Northern Germany, prominent for high-quality food creations at media, design, and fashion events. In 2013 he took the big leap to Berlin, more precisely to Karl-Marx-Allee 133, where he organizes state-of-the-art events for distinguished clients. Since April 2016, Ralf has dedicated himself as an event consultant to a new generation of caterers and customers.
When he arrived at the doors of Wild & Wiese, the creative-culinary cooperation was quickly sealed. Ralf is also known as the “client- whisperer” at “Wild & Wiese” as he almost always knows what his guests like before they have a chance to take their seat. His own favorite food? Spaetzle with beef roulades and lots of sauce!
